Here, I look at Luke 24: 1-7 to talk about the meaning of the resurrection and Easter Sunday in the present moment. The resurrection is about life over death, and the establishment of God’s reign in the world in Jesus Christ; and that the power of the resurrection lives in each of us as believers. Easter is bigger that one Sunday out the year; it is about daily faith and hope, and triumph over those things associated with death, like injustice, oppression, despair, violence, and hopelessness.
